Supporting the communities within which we work

At IPC, we built IPC Cares to bring together the various efforts we make towards enhancing the communities within which we operate. By adopting causes that are close to our hearts, we keep ourselves committed and accountable.

Last year alone, as a company, we supported the aid efforts on the Fort McMurray fires, palliative care through The Healing Cycle Foundation and women and children through The Salvation Army.

Perhaps the most significant effort we undertake, and one that we believe is representative of the kind of work that inspires and keeps us committed to our Corporate Social Responsibility(CSR) efforts, is the community development project in Honduras with The Carpenteros & Friends. Last year’s project involved a group of IPC staff and Advisors volunteering their time and energy on the ground. Very little is as inspiring and rewarding as living the lives of the people you’re helping, and every one of the people who took the journey came back a changed person, even more determined to stay committed to making a difference in the world!

We also made countless small but significant contributions of our time and resources within our communities through many grassroots charities we believe in, and the ripple effects of their efforts are always rewarding.

Community Support

Alzheimer Society - SaskatchewanAs proud supporters and sponsors of the Alzheimer Society annual fall gala “A Night To Remember”, which was held on October 22, 2015, I would like to thank Trina Hodel and the Alzheimer Society for giving us the opportunity to take part in such an important fund raiser. IPC/Glen Koshman was a Ruby Sponsor for this event, with all proceeds going directly to the Alzheimer Society of Saskatchewan.

The Alzheimer Society of Saskatchewan provides support, education and referral services, advocates for individuals living with dementia and their families, fund Alzheimer research, and raise awareness about the disease and ways to maintain a healthy brain.

As proud supporters and sponsors of the annual "Getzlaf & Friends Charity Golf Classic" in 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017, we would like to thank Chris Getzlaf for giving us the opportunity to take part in such an important fundraiser. IPC Regina has sponsored a hole in the golf tournament each of the four years, with the event raising over $200,000 that went directly to the Children's Wish Foundation.

Getzlaf & Friends Charity Golf ClassicProud supporters and sponsors of “Getzlaf & Friends Charity Golf Classic" in 2014, 2015, 2016, and 2017 raising over $200,000 for Children's Wish Foundation.

Childern's Wish FoundationThe Children's Wish Foundation is a uniquely Canadian charity that helps Canadian children, families and communities by granting the favourite wish of a child diagnosed with a serious or life-threatening illness. With every wish that we grant, we create moments of joy that ease the pain of a child, give respite to the child's family, and connect healthcare professionals and communities in that burning wish of hope.
